Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Measuring jigger
  • Margarita Glass
  • Small plate for sugar rim

Ingredients

  • 2 oz blanco tequila
  • 1 oz white cranberry juice
  • 1 oz coconut rum
  • 0.75 oz lime juice
  • 0.5 oz agave syrup
  • 1 cup ice
  • Sugar for rimming
  • Rosemary sprig for garnish
  • Lime wheel optional

Instructions

Rim the glass

  • Pour sugar onto a small plate. Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass, then gently press it into the sugar. This gives the Snowflake Margarita its classic sugar rim look.

Mix the drink

  • Add tequila, white cranberry juice, coconut rum, lime juice, agave syrup, and ice to a cocktail shaker or mason jar.

Shake well

  • Shake until the shaker feels cold. This chills the drink and blends the flavors.

Pour and garnish

  • Fill your glass with fresh ice and strain the margarita into the glass. Top with a rosemary sprig and a lime wheel if you want a little extra Christmas color.

Notes

  • This Snowflake Margarita works well as a Party Punch for bigger groups.
  • The sugar rim helps highlight the snowy color.
  • White cranberry juice is what keeps the drink clear.
  • Fresh lime juice gives the best brightness.
  • Coconut rum creates the winter flavor.
