Equipment

  • A high-speed blender or a juicer
  • A fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth
  • A large mixing bowl
  • A pitcher
  • Glasses for serving

Ingredients

  • 1 medium-sized pineapple peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 2 large limes juiced
  • 2 tablespoons of honey or any natural sweetener of your choice optional
  • 2 cups of cold water
  • Ice cubes as needed
  • Mint leaves for garnish optional

Instructions

Prepare the Pineapple:

  • Start by prepping your pineapple. Peel away the tough exterior, remove the core, and chop the fruit into chunks.

Juice the Limes:

  • Squeeze the juice from the limes using a citrus juicer or your hands. Aim for a fresh and tangy flavor profile.

Blend the Ingredients:

  • Combine the pineapple chunks, lime juice, and cold water in your trusty blender. Feel free to add honey at this stage if you prefer a sweeter juice. Blend until smooth and frothy.

Strain the Juice:

  • Pour the blended mixture through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a pitcher for a silky-smooth texture. This step removes pulp or fibrous bits, leaving you with pure liquid gold.

Chill and Serve:

  • Pop the pitcher of juice into the fridge for a refreshing chill. When you’re ready to indulge, pour the juice over ice cubes in your favorite glasses. For an extra touch of elegance, garnish with fresh mint leaves.

Notes

For a thicker texture, you can freeze some pineapple chunks before blending.
