Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk for a richer texture
  • 1 cup fresh spinach packed
  • 1/2 small avocado
  • 1/2 cucumber peeled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon MCT oil or coconut oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract optional
  • 5-7 ice cubes
  • Sweetener to taste stevia or erythritol

Gather Ingredients

  • I always recommend starting with all ingredients prepped and ready. Wash the spinach and cucumber thoroughly. Peel and slice the avocado and cucumber.

Add Liquids to Blender

  • Pour the unsweetened almond milk into the blender first. Adding liquids first ensures smooth blending and prevents ingredients from sticking.

Add Greens and Avocado

  • Place the spinach, cucumber slices, and avocado into the blender. The avocado adds a creamy texture that’s perfect for a smoothie.

Include Healthy Fats

  • Add the chia seeds and MCT oil to the mix. These provide essential fats that support ketosis and keep you feeling satiated.

Sweeten to Taste

  • If you prefer a slightly sweet flavor, add stevia or erythritol. Adjust the amount based on your preference.

Blend Until Smooth

  • Toss in the ice cubes and blend quickly until the mixture is creamy and smooth. Check for consistency and adjust with more almond milk if it’s too thick.

Serve and Enjoy

  • Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately. Garnish with a sprinkle of chia seeds or a cucumber slice if desired.
