Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups of water
  • 4 tea bags black or green tea, depending on preference
  • ½ cup of sugar adjust to taste
  • cups of fresh orange juice about 3-4 large oranges
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice optional for added tang
  • Ice cubes
  • Orange slices and mint leaves for garnish

Instructions
 

Brew the Tea

  • Bring the 4 cups of water to a boil in your kettle or pot. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the tea bags. Let them steep for about 5 minutes for black tea or 3 minutes for green tea. Remove the tea bags and stir in the sugar until completely dissolved. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.

Mix with Orange Juice

  • In your large pitcher, combine the cooled tea with the fresh orange juice and lemon juice (if using). Mix well to ensure the flavors are well blended.

Chill

  • Add generous ice cubes to the pitcher or refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours before serving to ensure the Iced Tea with Orange Juice is perfectly chilled.

Serve

  • Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the Iced Tea Orange Juice over the ice, and garnish with a slice of orange and a mint leaf. Enjoy your refreshing and invigorating drink!
