Equipment

  • A jar or glass with a lid (for shaking)
  • Measuring spoons
  • A spoon or straw for stirring
  • A tall glass for serving

Ingredients

  • 2 shots espresso or ½ cup strong brewed coffee cooled
  • 1 cup milk I like almond milk, but any kind works
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin purée
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup or honey
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • Pinch of fine sea salt
  • Ice enough to fill your glass
  • Whipped cream or cinnamon sticks optional, for topping

Instructions

Brew and Cool the Coffee:

  • If you’re using brewed coffee, make it strong and let it cool completely (or make it the night before and store in the fridge).

Shake or Stir the Latte Base:

  • In a jar or glass, add the milk, pumpkin purée, maple syrup, vanilla, pumpkin pie spice, and salt. Shake it like crazy until well mixed. (Or stir really well.)

Add the Coffee:

  • Pour the cooled coffee into your jar or directly into your serving glass. Stir again to combine.

Add Ice:

  • Fill your glass with ice to the top.

Top and Serve:

  • If you’re feeling extra, add whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon or a cinnamon stick. Sip and enjoy!

Notes

If your pumpkin purée is thick, you can blend the mixture or warm it slightly before shaking. This helps everything combine better and gives a smoother texture.
