Ingredients

  • 1/2 gallon Polar Blast Blue Hawaiian Punch chilled
  • 1 liter Sprite chilled
  • 6 ounces pineapple juice chilled
  • 5 scoops vanilla ice cream

Instructions

Chill everything first

  • Place the Blue Hawaiian Punch, Sprite, and pineapple juice in the refrigerator until thoroughly chilled. This small step makes a big difference. Since the punch is served cold and the ice cream melts quickly, starting with cold ingredients helps keep everything refreshing.

Pour in the Blue Hawaiian Punch

  • Pour the 1/2 gallon of chilled Blue Hawaiian Punch into a large punch bowl. Use a bowl that gives you enough room to stir gently without splashing.

Add the pineapple juice

  • Pour in 6 ounces of chilled pineapple juice. Give the mixture one gentle stir. You don’t need to vigorously mix it because you want to keep the punch as fresh and fruity as possible.

Add the Sprite

  • Slowly pour in the 1 liter of chilled Sprite. Stir once or twice with a large spoon. I recommend stirring gently because too much mixing will cause the carbonation to disappear more quickly.

Add the vanilla ice cream

  • Scoop 5 scoops of vanilla ice cream and place them gently on top of the punch. This is the part everyone tends to notice. The ice cream floats at first, then gradually softens and melts into the blue punch.

Serve immediately

  • Ladle the punch into cups while the ice cream is still floating on top. Try to get a little of the creamy foam and melted ice cream into each serving. It gives the drink the best texture and appearance.

Notes

This punch is intentionally sweet because it combines fruit punch, lemon-lime soda, pineapple  juice, and vanilla ice cream. For the best balance, serve it very cold and add the ice cream immediately before serving. If you prefer a less-sweet drink, you can reduce the amount of ice cream or substitute part of the Sprite with plain sparkling water.
