Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh spinach packed
  • 1 small avocado peeled and pitted
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or any plant-based milk
  • 1 medium green apple cored and chopped
  • ½ cucumber peeled and sliced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1- inch piece of fresh ginger peeled
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup optional for sweetness
  • ½ cup ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • Add the spinach, avocado, almond milk, and green apple to a blender.
  • Toss in the cucumber, lemon juice, ginger, and chia seeds.
  • Blend on high until smooth and creamy. If needed, add more almond milk to reach your desired consistency.
  • Taste and adjust the sweetness by adding honey or maple syrup.
  • Add ice cubes and blend again until smooth.
  • Pour into two glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

  • This recipe is versatile. Feel free to experiment with your favorite fruits or greens.
  • For a thicker smoothie, add a few slices of frozen banana.
