  • Jigger or measuring cup
  • Margarita or lowball glass

Ingredients
  

  • 2 ounces blanco tequila
  • 2 ounces apple cider
  • 2 ounces cranberry juice 100% juice or cocktail
  • 1 ounce orange juice or orange liqueur like Triple Sec or Cointreau
  • Ice cubes
  • Brown sugar + granulated sugar for rimming the glass
  • Apple slice for garnish
  • Cinnamon stick for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the glass:
  • Mix brown sugar and granulated sugar on a small plate. Lightly wet the rim of your glass with an orange wedge or water, then dip it into the sugar mix.
  • Shake it up:
  • In a cocktail shaker, add tequila, apple cider, cranberry juice, orange juice or liqueur, and a handful of ice. Shake well for about 15–20 seconds until chilled.
  • Serve:
  • Strain into your prepared glass filled with ice.
  • Garnish:
  • Add an apple slice and a cinnamon stick for that festive touch.

Notes

This cranberry apple margarita recipe is best enjoyed fresh. The apple cider and cranberry juice tend to separate if stored too long, so give it a quick stir before serving.
