Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups blood orange juice fresh or bottled
  • 1 oz mezcal or dark rum
  • 0.5 oz cherry liqueur or grenadine
  • 0.5 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 cup tart cherry juice
  • Splash of soda water or prosecco optional
  • 1 cup tequila or mezcal optional, for stronger flavor
  • Red sugar for rimming the glasses
  • Rosemary sprig or black cherry for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Prep your glasses:
  • Rim each glass with a bit of lime juice and dip it into red sugar. It gives the perfect “bloody” sparkle.
  • Mix the punch:
  • In a large pitcher, combine blood orange juice, cherry juice, lime juice, cherry liqueur (or grenadine), and alcohol (if using). Stir well.
  • Chill:
  • Add ice and refrigerate for at least 10–15 minutes before serving. This helps the flavors meld together.
  • Add bubbles:
  • Just before serving, pour in a splash of prosecco or soda water for some fizz.
  • Garnish & serve:
  • Pour into your sugar-rimmed glasses, top with a rosemary sprig or black cherry, and watch everyone’s faces light up!
