Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 4 oz apple cider
  • 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz maple syrup or honey
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon or 1 cinnamon stick
  • Ice
  • A small dash ground allspice optional
  • Dash orange bitters optional
  • Club soda to taste optional
  • Apple and lemon slices for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Fill your cocktail shaker (or jar) with ice.
  • Add bourbon, apple cider, lemon juice, and maple syrup.
  • Toss in a pinch of cinnamon and, if using, a dash of allspice and bitters.
  • Shake well for about 10 seconds until chilled.
  • Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice.
  • Garnish with an apple slice, lemon wheel, or a cinnamon stick.
